If you are badminton lover or may be you are Malaysia Badminton Star, Wong Mew Choo's fan, surely you have witnessed the breathtaking and exciting badminton final match which held in GuongZhou, China on 25th Nov.

Mew Choo beat the two-times world champion, XieXingFang in the China Badminton Open's final, and became the 1st non-China player who won the Champion of the China Badminton Open (according to SinChew), but according to SeeHua (诗华日报), she was the 2nd non-china player who break the record, the 1st non-China player who break the record was the Korea Player, FangZhuXian (方铢贤) in year 1994. Anyhow, as a malaysian, we should proud with the Wong's acheivement in her badminton tournaments.

Badminton is one of my favorite game, during my university time, beside jogging (almost everday run averagely 5KM), I played badminton too. Now I still playing badminton, on every Wednesday (7-9P.M) & Friday (8-10P.M). But no matter how often or how hard I play, it seem that I never have improvement in terms of technical, skills & staminal. But it doesn't matter as Im not a professional badminton player & I play only for fun & health.

Damn Cough

Damn cough! Seem it likes me very much, don't wanna leave me oh...I got it since last Sunday (4th Nov), but til today, not yet get better, getting worst somemore even have tried up various kinds of medicines.

At first, I have tried up the Strepsils, include the one for chesty cough (purple packing), but it just can't help.

Later Fern has bought me the "枇杷膏", I not really like it, even this was my choice (mmh, should be my mum choice...) during my childhood. It is sweet but not effective in stopping my cough & itchy throat.

So on Tuesday (6th Nov), Fern bought me an anti-cough syrup (Sedilix) from clinic, but my cough seem getting worst after this syrup been taken...! Night time, Fern's mum gave me a remedy...put an egg in a glass (of course with the shell removed) with a red onions chopped into small pieces & pour in the hot boiled water, left it for few minutes, then drink it...hmm, nice tasting, but......I still coughing!

Wednesday (7th Nov), after finish played badminton at 9:00P.M, went to fecth Fern's from the clinic (she works night shift). I was asked to see Dr Noor. After checking, Dr Noor gave me another anti-cough syrup (ZECUF, made of herbs).

At the same time, Fern's mum have another remedy for me, she steamed me a green apple together with some herbs, which believed that can stop coughing. I have ZECUF & green apple for 3 days already, but...sad...needless to say, I still cough over night.

Im sad, as I miss crabs very much. Sea World Sea Foods Restaurant is having a promotion, 1KG of crabs is just RM10.00 (normal rate RM15.00). Tomorrow would be the last day of promotion, damn cough...all because of you, those crabs are to feed other people tummy, not mine!

OMG, too bad, I get running nose this morning...what wrong to my immunity system, it never been this weak before, perhaps I can't deny that, Im not young any more... :p

Money No Enough

With the salary increment announced by our PM, Pak Lah for Government Servants somewhere around in June 07 (if not mistaken & please correct me if Im wrong :p), follows is a series of increment in our daily expenses (groceries, poultries, electricity & etc, perhaps the fuel/petrol is in the Q list too).

You see this, a plate of noodle (Mi Kering/Mi Kolok), it cost me RM2.30 started Nov 07. I ever part time at a food & drink restaurant whilst Im studied in secondary school (year 1992), that time a plate of noodle/bihun/kuehtiaw was only RM1.50, it was later adjusted to RM1.70, then increased to RM2.00, and now shoot up to RM2.30! RM0.30 increased in 1KG of noodle lead to RM0.30 increase in a plate of noodle, don't you think that such increment seem is out of sense & not reasonable!

If let say u eat "Mi Kering" or similiar stuffs as your breakfast every morning, this meant you will have to spend extra RM9.00 /month just for breakfast alone, this haven't take account other stuffs like Laksa, "KuehChap", Fried Noodle/Bihun/KuehTiao, which the price is much more increased (+RM0.50). Now even the price of "ChaSiu" rice, chicken rice, BBQ rice & etc to be increased another RM0.50~RM1.00 (or may be more) from the current price, due to market price increment of the poultries like chickens, porks, ducks...

Very soon, I guess, very soon, our PM, Pak Lah is going to announce price increment in the fuel (petrol), may be just after the coming election day??? I ever part time in Petronas Station as a Pump Attendant cum clerk asisitant during my 6 months long school break after SPM (before stepped in Lower 6). a

That time (year 1998), 1 Liter of petrol (Super) was only RM1.09, we spent RM59.95 for a full tank of fuel for our vehicle (assume that the tank volum is 55 Litre); but now, we have to pay RM105.60 for a full tank, which differ RM45.65.

We hope that we can change this cruel situation, but the fact is we can't! Now most of us are so helpless, can do nothing to stop a series of increment in our daily espenses, is a burden! So is time for you to monitor your wallet/purse closely, dont let it suffer of "Vit-M" deficiency or over feed your Credit Cards, think twice in spend every single cent of $, be a smart consumer; between may be you should be a smart elector in the coming election day? :p

Luak Bay - Esplanade Beach

Hmm, too bad...my body has gave me some signals last few days...finally I get cough, which caused pain in the throat when coughing. But one thing Im sure is that I havent get the sore throat yet, as I had try to soak my throat with salty water, it not caused any pain...anyway, I lost my voice since yesterday...

Yesterday (around 2:30P.M) I received a call from Sunway International Hotel, said that I have a free voucher for 3 days 2 nights hotel/resort room package, asked me go to collect this free voucher at Mega Hotel (Miri), at floor 11th, functioning room "xxx" (forgot the room's name). Had called Mega Hotel to have a clarification, and the operator told that it was true. Anyway at the last, I didnt make it, as assumed by Fern's sister-in-law (who works in Miri Marriot Resort & Spa) , it should be a travelling package promotion, by which if you buy one, you are entitled to such free voucher.
