I just realized that it has been a week I didn't log in my Yahoo account. When I log in yesterday morning, more than 250 mails pending for reading. Of course this was the result from the blog hopping. As normally if I left a comment(s) in a blog, I'll make sure that the check box of "follow-up comment via mail" is being ticked prior the comment submition.

I don't know if you also have such practice? But I think this is always a good & recommended practice for us bloggers, with the following reasons:

1. We normally only left comment(s) in an entry / post that we are interested with, via the follow-up comment(s) , we can roughly know which reader or blogger have the same interest. One day we may interested to head on to their blogs.

2. We sometime may expect a reply or an useful feedback from the blog's author (readers) especially on the comment or inquiry we have left into those informative entries / posts.
3. Sometime our comment(s) may be useful to blog's author (readers), with the follow-up comment(s) we will know if they need further information which require our reply.
4. Based on the follow-up comment(s), we roughly will know how is the popularity of an entry or a blog.
5. Of course, we will know too which blog is worth for us to re-visit in the future, of course are those with replies & updates. The reply shown that the blog's author does appreciate our visit... :p
aWhen you are doing the blog hopping, found that some of the entries are interesting, you may want to leave a comment for them; but before you do this, please make sure you know the right place to drop your comment. Anyway Im not going to further elaborate on this, you know why? Please head on to Apple if you want to know the reasons. The above button tells us how much your blog worth? I found that if more readers drop comments to your blog, your blog's value will keep increasing compare to those blogs with no comment. Remark:
Hooosh, I spent almost the whole morning (sorry to tell, Im catching anaconda during the working hours...:p) to open, read, reply (if neccessary) & delete all those mails. Luckily I can direct read most of the follow-up comment(s) from different blogs' authors (readers) without leaving the Yahoo page (but some do required offsite click), otherwise it might delay the task.

Yes, subscribing to the comment follow-up is a good way to keep track of what we had comment/interested in. wow, thanks for mentioning me in this post ^^, I'm glad you remember that post.

sweetiepie: I have tested on other blogs' URLs, like my fren one, he blog since yr 05 (active blogger), til now still $0.00.
Whatever it is, the upmost important msg is, healthy blog should have healthy interaction with our blogs; blogging lonely with no other bloggers join in would be quite bore & un-encouraging! So 10q for support!
