This is my colleague, a cute little girl (Ms Fam), she is the one who draw my blood that day. Even she only has 1 year experience in lab works, but she perform the phlebotomy very well, cause no pain so no worry. She will be transfer to Sibu Outlet (her hometown) as a Lab Manager with effect 1 Oct 07, so I think this would be the last chance for her to draw my blood, hehe...

Whenever you have the health screening at any private lab, please do check the request form & the test tubes, make sure they are properly & correctly labelled with your name & other particulars, to avoid the mixed up of the blood specimens with other customers one.

Attached here is part of my health screening report, everything is normal, except the bilirubin reading, a bit higher than the upper normal limit, but nothing worse. Im not fit in Hepatitis B Screening (Reactive in HBsAg) as well. Nothing to do with this, Im a Hep B carrier since Form 6, I knew it through a blood donation campaign. So have to monitor the LFT + AFP (liver cancer) every 3 to 6 months, ultrasound scanning may helpful.

People like me who work in the lab, oftenly will deal with the blood, urine & other body fluids which might be infectious, the routine screening on certain infectious diseases, especially STD (Syphilis, HIV...etc) is crucial & required. Of course, the screening test not a preventive step, the best way is to handle the infectious biohazard with full causion (wearing glove, avoid needle injury....etc).

You should have such health screening too, please consult with your doctor and fast for at least 10-12 hours prior the blood testing.
Tips: How often you should have the full health screening?
