What The Problem Is?

Recently I encountered some errors while searching internet & doing the blog hopping. I'm sorry that I'm an IT idiot which have no idea what goes wrong & how to rectify the error. It really annoying and make me so frustrated & pissed off......
a
The error is that when I tried to head on a link from a web page, it just can't bring or load me into the page linked, it showed me a pop-up message as shown in the picture below instead:
a
" A Runtime Error has occured. "
Do you wish to debug?
Line: 9
Error: "console" is undefined
a
a

If I hit the "NO" button, the same pop-up message will appear again & again whenever the cursor is move over the same link or image. It does happen too when I wanna drop a comment whilst doing blog hopping, the error occured when I hit any key on the keyboard over the same column. If I hit the "YES" button, it shows me another pop-up message "Just In-Time Debugging", ask if I wanna debug using the selected debugger (New instance of Microsoft Script Editor)?
a

Click "YES" it brings me the the Microsoft Script Editor as shown in the picture below. I'll need to hit "BREAK" to continue. Huh? Kidding me, all the contents are just look alike the HTML, JavaScript or other codes which I'm not familiar of. Really kanasai le......sigh!

As you can see in the image below, a line "console.log(e.keyCode)..." in the MSE is highlighted in yellow, I guess this would be the coding error that need to be debug? Can some one tell me what wrong with this codes? And how to correct it? Between, can some one tell me whose error or fault is it? Is my PC lack of certain program(s) that supporting the script data or the other parties has had the wrong coding in their page that can't be read correctly? Can some body who is IT expert kindly guide me on how get rid of this errors? Thanks in advance ya...:)

Who Know The Correct Answer?

My colleague, Beatrix asked me a weird question last 2 days. She told that her friend just went for an interview for the a teacher post not long ago. Those participants may need to sit for a table test too. There was an objective question sound like this:
a
Question:
Lembu : Kerbau

Answers:
A. Ayam : Itik
B. Kambing : Seladang
C. Halimau : Singa
D. Biawak : Buaya
a
In case you dont know what is Lembu (Cow), here the look...:p

And this is Kerbau (Buffalo)

WTH the question is? Testing for the participants' IQ? May be, since the childs or students (new generation) in the modern time tend to have high curiosity in all aspects compare to the older generation. New generation has different mindset & thinking too. Teachers need to be trained to handle certain unexpected conditions like students may ask some stupid or silly questions which can be so annoyance, awkwardness & nonsense! In should, teachers must possess a brain (IQ & EQ) which able to turn at 360 degree & process high capacity of data!

So what would be your best answer for the question above? A, B, C or D? Why?

Largest Mosquito I Ever Saw

I saw a "Vampire" when I wanna to have a shower in the bath room last few days. I'm not really sure if the noun "Vampire" is suitable to describe this big mosquito or not, it may not require a blood meal I guess.
a
As I know, the male or large mosquito species normally doesn't bite animals or human for the blood meal, they have the juicy meal from the fruits or plants instead. Or else, it would be quite terrible to have such big "blood addicted" mosquito flying anywhere in our houses just seeking victim(s) for a "luxury" meal.
a
The largest mosquito I ever saw is shown in the photo below, Its lenght is around 2 cm plus. Have you ever see a mosquito in such a big size in the past? Creepy right? :D

Things that Addictive to Me

High Speed
a
a
When I just past my driving test, I only drove at the average speed of 50KM/hour, I don't dare to drive beyond this speed, as I afraid I will lost my control on the steering. Few months later, I drove at the average speed of 80KM/hour which is still considered as too fast for me; And now, the speed of 80KM/hour and above seem is too slow to me. I always wish to drive at at least 100KM/hour and above, but I can't; not because of I don't dare or I'm scared, it is because of the majority of the road conditions not allow me to do so! The fastest speed I ever drove in my Myvi is 140KM/hour, I make it on the free highway from Miri to Bintulu. I'm so excited over the high speed & the sound from the car's engine accelerates my heartbeats......Anyway, I try not to do so whenever more than one person in a car...or if drive alone, I will make sure I'm not only drive fast, but drive right and drive safely.
a
Exercise
a
a
Ya, is "exercise", not a typo error! This happen when I'm studied in USM, Health Campus, which located in Kubang Kerian, Kelantan. We used to called this place "古板可怜", which is quite bore with no much entertainments. So the only thing I can do after lectures or during the free time is either sleeping or exercise. I went for jogging or play badminton every evening after 5:30P.M. I found that once I have jog for so regularly, I just can't skip it even for a single day; I felt so disappointed & started to complain whenever the raining day came. So I played badminton as a replacement, or will just wait the rain to stop. I jogged 5 to 7.5KM everyday along the run-way around the campus's golf court, which one round roughly equal to 2.5K.M. If you don't believe one can addicted to the exercise or sport, you can have a try, and worth to try! So why not?a
a
Alcoholic Drinks
a
a
Do you drink alcoholic drinks like beer, liquor, wine and etc? Or have you try one before? If you never try an alcoholic drink before, you will never know how it tastes alike. According to alcoholic drinkers, those who are new to the alcoholic drinks (e.g beers) will feel that it was a bit bitterness in its taste for the first few tries; but when time past & you keep drink the beers for a certain period, he or she will later found that the beers are actually sweet tasting. And this is the time you started or have totally addicted to the beers. Never try never know, but better you don't try, as alcoholic drinks can be harmful to our liver and kidney. I do drink socially but I try the best to not buy myself any alcoholic drink, so I only drink if it is FOC......:) So please don't tempt me......
a
Gambling
a
a
There are so many gambling or betting activities out there for your choice, like buying the digits either at Sports Toto, Magnum4D or Cash Sweep, or "under-ground bodies", or via online (e.g www.bs88.com), football betting, playing card, casino and etc. One may easily get addicted to the gambling habit if he or she has won the game in the first few tries. You should know that some events like playing cards or watching football matches alone are already interesting & exciting enough, what more if you can make some money from the games? What worst is human believed in luck and they are greedy, so once they won, they will keep on gambling by invest bigger amount of money with the only hope to win back more money. [ FYI, those who are new to gambling, normally they are more likely to win in the games, as they are still "pure" in the heart & thinking, they play for fun; later they are unlikely to win the games, as their heart & thinking is "polluted", they play for money! ] Luckily I'm a human, hence I believed in luck too, so I have finally choose to play those games for fun only............the reason is I never be good luck in gambling in the past...:pa

Junk Foods
a
a
Although I'm high health conscious, I'm in health care industry and knew that the junk foods may content some sort of colouring, chemical additives and etc which can be harmful to our healths or bodies, I just can't resist the temptation of eating those delicious junk foods like cutter fish slices, crispy potato chips, crackers & snacks, biscuits, wafer cakes and etc. It is so "syiok" with the junk foods accompany me all the times whenever I'm reading book or watching TV & DVD, it keep my mouth exercising. I'm gaining weight now-a-day, and so sad that most of the pants no longer fit to my waist. I hope I can stop eating these "rubbish" foods one day and I'm trying hard not to buy any junk foods now, but the mission seem failed, as I found that I have more excuses & reasons to buy & eat junk foods since I try to say "NO" to the junk foods! ~Sigh~

Cursed SMS vs One Miss Call

Recently, there is a hot hearsay which has been spreaded widely via the SMS. The SMS is sent with the purpose to remind or warn the public that recently there is an Indonesian created a cursed SMS or call with an intention to test the effectiveness of his / her so called "black magic" (curse). According to SMS, it warned that never answer any phone call with phone numbers of 4 weird digits (0666 or 0888) and with a red screen beyond 10:00P.M. Or else the person who has answered the call will die unexpectedly......it sound so scary!
a
a
Anyway, don' t be too panic or worry, as now I'm go to announce, the film director Takashi Miike called me personally said that he is currently filming the horror movie "One Miss Call III", so if you do received such SMS or phone call with a red screen, please do not answer the call or read the SMS or please just ignore it, as you are not in the his actor or actress's list. Or else, please do so at your on risk (you have been warned, you will have to bear the consequence with full responsibility!).......:p
a
a
Curse of SMS or phone call? Wow, it sound unbelieveable! Curse? It reminds me the black magics or witchcraft owned by the Malay & most of the Bumiputera in Malaysia (e.g Iban, Bidayuh...etc), by the used of certain kinds of supernatural or magical power. All these while, the curses or witchcrafts are the traditional practices, but now they have become so advance and can be practiced or deliveried to the victims via the high technology devices like handphones? Perhaps the programming experts should work harder, not only on the anti-virus, anti-spam, or anti-spyware programs and etc, but also on the new anti-curse program? lolz
a
You see, most times the dramas or movies play an important role as the teaching materials. If the above hearsay is true, I guess the movie "One Miss Call" have gave the said Indonesian wizard a bad idea to delivery the curses or spells via the handphones! Well, do you believe in the existance of the curse, black magic or witchcraft?

Clock of Different Control Mode

Fern has brought back a mini digital clock from the clinic yesterday, it was given by a sale representative of Arcoxia. Normally we may need to press a button to let the alarm clock display us the different features / modes (e.g alarm timing, timer...etc) on the digital screen before we can make some adjustments; but this clock is special & unique, we can just rotate the clock's body at 90 degree each to display us the different modes on the screen. I have no idea how the clock makes it, but I think the blue liquid may play a certain role to trigger the sensor inside the clock's body?
a
aNow the clock displays the "time" & "date on the screen.

After 90 degree of rotation, now it shows the "time" preset in the alarm mode

Another 90 degree of rotation, now the clock showing the "room temperature"

Another 90 degree of rotation, now the "timer" is on the screen

MAS vs AirAsia

With Effect 1 May 08 (if not mistaken), Malaysia Airline (MAS) is launching their "Everyday Low Fares" project, and started offer free seat at RM0.00 (exclude the tax) which similiar to what AirAsia is doing. They have advertised this promotion on the TV channels, local newspapers & etc lately, so I'm sure you have heard about it. You can always log in their website for further & latest informations.
a
This would be a good news to all of us, especially those who travelling oftenly, as now we have more than one option. Huh? Why I say like this? Well, if you are not a person who rich enough or a person who willing to spend extra money, certainly MAS won't be one of your option to travel with in the past, unless you have no choice; and no doubt AirAsia would be the only & the first choice to you. Since MAS also launching their so called "low fare" airline services now, so would you still need some time to consider & hesitate whether to fly with MAS or not?
a
aa
The next day, AirAsia has noticed the great competition & challenge fast enough, and has gave an immediate response to fight back its competitor, MAS. I heard some people said that part of the seats which the air fares were at RM69.xx at the 1st attempt, but it seem has been re-adjusted to RM39.xx. when 2nd attempt was made 30 minutes later.
a
Do you see the image below, which I adopt from AirAsia's website? They claimed that "AirAsia, the true low fare airline, provides the lowest fares for all flights in our extensive route network, both domestic and international. We boast a spanking new aircraft fleet, great in-flight food and friendly service without compromising on our safety standards. You have to admit, it’s a bargain! Smart consumers know the difference. Get your calculator out and start doing the math. Calculators don't lie. "
a
The CEO, Dato' Tony Fernandes even said that, we welcome you to approach us to have a refund for the extra money spent, if you found that the air-ticket (AirAsia) that you have bought is more expensive than the MAS one (same destination)! e.g: MAS vs AirAsia = RM68 vs RM88, AirAsia happy to refund you RM20! Isn't it sound great?
a

a
So what do you think? Which Airline you prefer to fly with, MAS or AirAsia? When you are making a decision on which airline to use, you are actually make a choice between the "cost effectiveness" & "time effectiveness" . Of course for those who care more on the money, even if only save RM0.01, they will still choose the AirAsia.

Mind me to remind you? AirAsia has the higher risk of delay in the flight schedules. If let say you can make RM20 per hour, delay of flight departure time for may be only 1 hour may cause you loss RM6.50 (RM20.00 - RM13.50)! Can you image how much will you lost if you are a success businessman, or know well speaker who able to earn RM100 or above per hour? How about if you are rushing time to deal with a business or big project with a value of RM10,000 or more? Would you mind to loss a big amount of money just to save that RM13.50? Is it worth?

Anyway, for me there is not much different between MAS & AirAsia' services, even though MAS claimed that they provide 5 stars airline services. The only disadvantage of flying with AirAsia is that you may need to walk so far from the air-craft to the terminal building under the hot sun (raining day) upon arrived.

Lastly, MAS & AirAsia has makes most people dream come true, with " Everyday Low Fares", "Now Everyone Can Fly"!!! Isn't it great?

You Decide to Stay or Quit

I have work with my recent company for 4 years long (since 1st April 2004). I still remember, just few months after I joined this company, I talked to my self that, I won't stay here long, perhaps max 1 year! The main reason is I'm not really interested in marketing life. But wow, the time flies, without my conscious, and I even can't belief that I have been here for that long already, 4 years! Huh! I'm still here after 4 years??? ~Sign~
a
Within these 4 years time, I have saw many staffs come in & go out the company (when is my turn? hihi), the rate of the staffs' turn-over seem is abit high compare to other companies which under the same industry field. What is / are the reason(s) for the high staffs' turn-over rate? I have no idea, but I guess it might certainly has a close relation to the staffs' employee benefits:

a
1. Salary Revision
I had my first salary increment After the 6 months probation period. After that, I have my salary increment every year, but till recent year my net salary still not much higher compare to the salary of last 3 years. You know why? As at the first year of work, company offered me RMY of basic salary + RM2X of outstation allowance; In 2nd year, management has increased my basic salary to RMY + RMX, in the same time the allowance reduced to RMX; Whislt in the 3rd year, my basic salary has been revised to RMY + RM2X, without any allowance; this year (last month), my basic salary remain the same, management gave me RMX of allowance. Does it mean my basic salary will be revised to RMY + RM3X with no allowance in the nex year? Can you catch what I meant? Anyway, I have to admit that, the salary offered is highest compare to other competitors.
a
2. End Year Bonus
First year, I received one month bonus from the management. According to the senior staffs, this being the first time they had the 1 month bonus! The following year, management announced that, staffs' bonus to determined by few factors, e.g sale performance, no of day of annual leaves taken...etc. So in the 2nd & 3rd year of work, I received bonus of 5 digits, with a "." after the 1st 3 digits, and the 1st digit is not more than 3......Can you imagine? Why should annual leaves to be listed as one of the factors that decide our bonus? Isn't sound like we used our bonus to buy the annual leaves?!! And this year, no news at all...... ~ Sigh ~
a
3. Annual Leave
Of course like other private companies, we have annual leave entitlement after the 6 months probation period. If we failed to claim all the annual leave, it will be burnt, as neither bring forward to the next year nor claim for money is not allow. Just end of year 2007, I have been informed by HR that staffs are not allow to take more than 3 days leave within a month...Oh shit, how if I wanna have a long vacation in the foreign countries? To apply for the un-pay leave?!!
a
4. Working Hours
Most of the staffs have to work 6 days a week, depent on the area, the operating hours listed below:
Monday - Friday : 8:00A.M to 5:00P.M
Saturday aaaaaaa: 8:00A.M to 1:00P.M
Sunday aaaaaaaa : 8:00A.M to 12:00P.M
Holidays* aaaaaa : Close (12 days a year)
Can you see, us as a employee have to tender majority part of our times to work for the company' s good. It is quite tired. Good news is, with effect 1st May 08, Miri outlet to be close on the Sunday. And management has managed to added another 4 1/2 days public holidays** (operating hours: 8:00A.M to 1:00P.M) to all the outlets
a
Remark:

(**) -- Awal Muharam, Hari Raya Haji, Birthday of Prophet Muhammad, Good Friday

White Bread vs Brown Bread

Lately, due to the increased in the price of the raw material (flour), follow is the price revision in to the flours manufactured products like noodles & breads or buns.
a
However according to the newspaper, the noodle' hawkers in Miri didn't manage to increase the selling price of the dry noodle (mi kering) even though the price of the noodle has increased another RM0.40/KG; as they claimed 1KG of noodle roughly can produce 8 plates of "mi kering", which equivalent to RM0.05 increased in the cost price per plate of noodle, which still considered as a very little increment, not burden much.
a
Anyway, most of the baker shops in miri have started to increase the selling price of the white bread (白面包), from the current rate of RM1.90 to RM2.50 without the acknowledge the Miri Domestic Trade & Consumer Affairs Department (DTCA, 美里贸消部). The following day, DTCA has gave a comment & warning in the local press, that they have no doubt to take action (to be fined or jailed) on those baker shops who take it upon oneself to increase the price of the white bread.
a
Do you know what is happening after the soft warning by DTCA in the local press? One of the baker shop in Mosjaya area, Miri has mixed some sort of colouring during the baking process, to produce a brown bread (黑面包), which has the same taste as the white bread. But they have more "value", as the selling price is at RM2.60 each.
a
a
A package of Brown Bread
a

a
Close look of a piece of brown bread

So all the white breads on the racks have been replaced by the new brown breads. The owner of the baker shop is honest, he told Fern's mum that he have no choice, since DTCA not allow to increase the price of the white bread, he will just has to change the look, turn it into a brown bread. Perhaps now can stop DTCA from making any noise. I don't know if this is the only baker shop which apply this strategy to protect their own profits? As I know, the price of the white bread has remain at RM1.90 each at most of the baker shops.

From the above case, we learn that those who are creative & innovative, and those who not blindly follow or obey to the fixed rules of the game normally are closer to the door of success, and they can survised longer compared to those who are stiff & conservative!
