I don't know how famous is she, but I think she is quite famous among the Malay community, why? As her very 1st album was a Malay Album, named "Mulakan" , which released on 15 Jan 2007. By the song "Cinta Hello Kitty" with the highest ranking.

All these while she are using the name "Karen Kong" for all activities / event related to her singing life; but not long ago, she had a chinese name "龚柯允", with the purpose to penetrate the market of chinese community. Her 1st Mandarin Album "表演－ShowTime" ---- KarenKong's Playlist.
