a
a
a
a

My Words:

Breathtaking news, BN has lost its political powers in 4 states: Penang, Kedah, Selangor & Perak, while failed to grab the political power from the PAS in Kelantan. This meant that in the next 5 years the opposition parties will be in power to rule in the 5 states by establish a new state government in each state very soon. But Im wondering, why should DAP, PKR or PAS still known as a opposition party? Is it just because of the political powers of the Malaysia are still majority under BN?
a
Although the opposition parties had a flying colour election results in West Malaysia, they DON'T in Borneo Island (Sabah & Sarawak)! ~Sigh~ In my state (Sarawak), the lawyer Chong Chieng Jen (张健仁) is the only DAP parliament member of Kuching Town who able to stand firm & won in 2008 Election. DAP had conducted a "10,000 People Assembly" in Chong Lin Park, Kuching a night before the 8.3.08, and the next day evening he managed beat his competitor the lawyer Alan Sim (沈耀荣) with the majority votes of almost 10,000 votes (actual votes: 9,952).....AMAZING enough!!!

So, what do you think? What is your first thought & reaction when you get known the above news? Well, is a good or is a bad, Im not in the position to further comment on this topic as Im not really familiar with the political issues. For me, please just let them have an opportunity & a try, and let the "time" be our most honest witness to prove & tell us the outcome in future!

man, the news here is Kuantan has been taken over by Keadilan,XD.
This is something new, these are strange times that we live in XD
Penang now is a DAP island, I am not sure this is good or bad, the good is we show people that penang people able to unite together. Bad thing is we scare that every things request will be stopped by parliment.
This was never happened in past election. BN lost a lot. Hmm.. I thought this is what malaysian wants ?
"This meant that in the next 5 years the opposition parties will be in power to rule in the 5 states by establish a new state government in each state very soon."
It won't be 5 years before the next election. Usually it is about 4 years between two elections. In fact, BN may even call for snap election after 2 or 3 years in a hope that they would regain 2/3 majority in the Parliament.
BTW, DAP, PAS and PKR are no longer 'opposition parties' in the states they rule. They are the 'ruling parties'!
it's defintely better than under BN!
or so i hope :p
What I believe is that this country really needs a strong opposition as check and balance. The past becomes the strong proof, winning 2/3 majority means they can do anything they like. I'm happy with the current situation. Meanwhile, the opposition just need a little more time to show us their true colours and capabilities.
